What product and process did you use to shiner up?I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a 30 year old car with original paint to shine like this before. I might have to buy another beater to wheel!View attachment 2249891

I love these early 80's. You just can't beat a plain and simple white 80. I just finished a restoration/preservation on a low-mile California native 80. Keep it basic and simple. It will stand out in a crowd. These early 80's have a retro look to them that seem to back date them. Folks tell me mine looks like a 70's and are shocked to learn it is a 91.

As a by product the "parts" car I bought for my restoration became my son's first car. (second photo is a 1992) Keep it basic and simple. It will stand out in a crowd. The retro decals help as well on my son's 92.

That just means it's the least ugly.I think the Tundra is the best looking full size on the market. Too each his own though...
That just means it's the least ugly.
Oh, and why not just have your cake and eat it too - buy a Land Cruiser with a 5.7, and get the best of both worlds!

I mean, that'd be great, but first I need to find a spare 80 large. Maybe in 2030...
