Hey guys, I've asked my fair share of questions on this board over the past month, figured I might as well put together a build thread.
Background: Just got out of college, thought about buying a new 4runner or Tacoma, but then thought "why have a car payment AND not get a V8?"
So $6.5K later I bought this baby.
01 LC, 1 owner (well 2 if you count his son), 236K miles, great interior, and a southern US truck.
Before purchasing I took it for a pre purchase inspection. Few things needed to be done; Water/TB, CV re-boot, Fluids changed, alignment, and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head.
This is my second car, have an accord that I daily drive, but as I build onto this Rig, it'll naturally become my DD.
Have one pic so far, will update as I add stuff. Building on somewhat of a budget. First things are/were PM's/Repairs. Second a lift for the saggy suspension, and third some 33 KO2's. Going to use Ikarus's LX build as my inspiration (love the look of his rig).
Also, i'm located in Austin, I know there's a bunch of cruiser heads out here, so if any of y'all do any meetups/wheeling/etc, I'd love to get in on the action as a newbie, maybe even learn something from the experienced guys.
Thanks all!
