So are plan was to go camping at Murphy lake last weekend but we dint make it to far off the highway before hitting a wall of snow. Ended up camping just off the 238 exit by a nice creek. Still way to much snow up there to go anywhere.

Thats what we found also but were able to get some decent camping in between Nicola Valley and Kamloops.
Nicola Valley is usually pretty dry, the coq summit mtns take most of the precip.

Anybody going on the May Long Weekend trip better plan on really warm clothing, footwear, sleeping bags, and shelter. Who knows where we'll end up sleeping on the Sunday night up there in the hills? Also, their rig should have decent tires too.

I've had some of my best fishing when a lake is just starting to ice off before it turns. Fish can be pretty hungry! Great pics!
