Cooling system pressure (1 Viewer)

I took off my radiator cap of my 85 FJ-60 and there was a gush of coolent as if the system was ubder pressure. The truck had not been run in a week. I never noticed this before. I have a feeling this is not normal. Any ideas?

normal, I think it is somewhat relate to the weather, barometer kinda deal.......

This is the first time I have noticed this happening. I can feel the cap push up from the pressure.

I've been noticing the same thing with my 87 FJ60. I had a toyota pickup that had the same problem but it was due to a head gasket leak. I haven't checked my compression in a while but hopefully Landpimp is right and it's nothing to worry about.

Anyone else experienced this before?
