My FJ62 coolant recovery bottle is original and opaque. I see new OEM for $70-ish.
I have never liked the fact that the bottle is shallow and sloshes when 'wheeling and gets very full on hot days. It's a lousy design, IMO.
Should I just buy OEM or is there a trick Toyota solution with a longer/deeper bottle that still looks good but works better? A 1978 FJ40 bottle is longer, but would be hard to mount, from what I see.
