Coolant overflow bottle top cap fitting (1 Viewer)

Hi, can someone confirm the top cap for the radiator overflow bottle is not a simple "T-fitting" meaning the direction of flow for the "T" for both coolant hoses attached on the left and right of the top cap cannot be reversed?

They can not.

One goes to the hose inside, the other is a vent on the cap.

Look at the under side of the lid

ahhh...thank you sir. I must have reversed the fitting when i was installing the new hoses. That explains why i am getting a puddle on the ground when the engine cools.
