Hi guys,

I came in for tranny flush and the dealer found the coolant leaks form back of engine. I checked all the hoses from top of engine and did not find any leaks or cracked hose. Anyone had this happened to your 200 before? Any hose I should look at close to the firewall? Thanks

You have likely discovered a valley plate leak as it often first shows up by leaking coolant down the back of the engine block. If you search in this forum you'll find more than a handful of threads devoted to diagnosing and fixing it.

@JohnJB, you beat me to it. Looks like a valley leak to me.

Also, happens to many Tundras, so a google of Tundra and valley leak will net a lot of info.

Thanks. It's getting fixed at a friend's shop.

Supposedly there is an updated sealant that addresses the issue. Might be worth checking to see whether they are aware of this.
