Hello,

I have a 2000 LX 470 which seems to have a coolant leak under the drivers side time cover subassembly. When I put my hand in that area, it is wet with coolant. What could be the source of this leak? Are there any coolant lines running behind the timing cover subassembly? Thanks in advance for the help, I really appreciate it!

In your picture, the hose just below the upper radiator hose and to the left of your leak is one of the the throttle body coolant lines.
There is a second throttle body coolant line tucked farther in just above the leak. It's a shorter, smaller diameter line in an "S" shape.
You may be able to get a better view of it looking from the drivers side.

Thank you all so much for the pointers! Is that hose under the timing cover? I am not really able to see the hose. Will I be able to reach it I remove that black timing cover assembly?

There are no coolant hoses under the covers. However it will allow you to see if the water pump is leaking.
