Cool Box; I used to be all “meh” now I am all “WooHoo!”

Anyone place a thermometer in their cool box to see how cold it actually gets? Also would it hurt if I placed a few scoops of ice in there along with drinks to keep it even colder. Is there a drain hole for the water when the ice melts?

Yes, I had a ~4 hour trip a couple of years ago, so I dropped a probe in there with my Fluke meter. It never got below about 42 degrees. YMMV.

Reading the threads on the Coolbox I can’t find a solution to my issue. My fan runs strong but it blows warm air. I have overridden the AC and made sure it is on. I have a 2016 LC. Any other suggestions?
