Converting front shock from stud to stud (1 Viewer)

Has any body ever converted your stud to stud front shock mounts so you can run longer stud to hoop shocks. Its seems that it is very hard to find long shocks with the stud to stud design for the front of fj80's. I was just wondering if anybody had run into this problem. I know I have seen this don on jeep XJ and TJ.

Sure have. In order to run the Koni 8241, I welded up some brackets to convert over to the eye.... as usual, pics on request. These parts may be available aftermarket, can't image they'd be vehicle specific.
