Do you have an acetylene torch? Heat that race up and it will fall off.

If you don’t have a torch, you could carefully cut/break it off by using a cutoff wheel on an angle grinder or whatever you have to shave the race down until you start to see the metal blue. Then try to break the race with a hammer and chisel without digging into the machined arm material.

X2 on heating up cherry red and hit the hot spot with a hammer

Bottom of that steering arm looks beat and mushroomed, did u have a brief failure?

may need to grind away the damage/ swelled area before removal attempts,

to pull the race I would use a clam shell bearing splitter, most autoparts stores will rent one,

yeap x2 on mushroomed. you could heat that up till it starts dripping and it wouldn't come off. going to have to grind, and i recommend a flap wheel vs a hard wheel, the stub back to the bearing race.

Hah. Thanks

but....

it isn’t a race.. it is the bearing body without the rollers. So it can’t be on there too bad

Any images of an arm without the bearing attached?

that would be the inner race

You can still see the race in the picture... top of the knuckle
It is the bearing body... trapped on the arm... I think..
all those damn little rollers went bye bye

thats the outer race...

the bottom side is identical, internally to the upper, there is no difference in the bearings either.
