Constant door ajar warning light (2 Viewers)

I have a constant door ajar warning light, even when the vehicle is turned off (with no doors ajar), enough voltage to draw the battery down considerably after a couple days of non-driving. Has anyone else had this issue?

Sounds like the mechanisms are out of alignment. You can access the tailgate parts from the inside. I replaced all the guts in mine.

First thing you need to determine which door is causing the problem. Most likely a bad switch or a door out of adjustment. One by one test each of the door switches.
