Guys,
The stars have finally aligned and I now have a few $ to buy my replacement engine. While I'm still hopeful that Dave at Japan 4x4 can come through with something new for a reasonable price I'm heading out this weekend to check out some used ones. I have a bunch of info on the 1HZ but the one thing missing from my data is what kind of compression numbers I should expect to see per cylinder if I can get these guys to compression test the engine before I buy it.
Second in all of the data sheets I see the "compression ratio" listed as being either 22.4:1 or 22.7:1" for the 1HZ. How do these numbers relate to the results that folks post after running compression tests on each cylinder of their engines.
Thanks,
John
