I just wanted to be certain I am not misreading my manual. I replaced the pinion/companion flange seal and my Haynes manual says the torque on the nut is 160 ft/lbs. The FAQ seems to bear that out also, but it just seems high. Heck, my 1/2" torque wrench only goes to 150 :)

Is that correct? I'd hate to over torque it and ruin the pinion bearings. Just wanted to double check.

Thanks,

Steve
