Has anyone done this?? Can you do these?? do they work?? What's up??

Anyone...anyone...beuller.....beuller....

I've tried, no luck. It will start the truck only under one circumstance.
I start the truck, turn it off, and leave the key in the ignition. Then and ONLY then will it remote start.

It seems to me that that would indicate some sort of factory anti-theft . . . but I have no idea. I'm pretty much at a loss.

It is possible as they have been fitted to landcruisers that require a high amount of security.
How its done ,or who sells a kit I do not know.

Hey guys,

A friend of mine is gonna install one for me on my HDJ81 on Monday.

I'll let you know how it goes. Also, i'll asking if there was any odd thing they had to do if they happen to get it going.

Well, I'm not sure if they will give it to me but i'll ask anyways. I'll try to squeeze it out of him..hahaha...He does run a business so i'm not sure if he'll provide me with the info. Actually, i'm not sure if they have the diagram. They might just end up testing all wires and such...Anyways, i'll let you all know what happens.

Well guys..I got the car starter/alarm (Compustar) in the rig. Apparently it took a while to figure out the truck but they managed to get it going. Works like a charm. It cost me 850 cash all said and done though :(. I asked for the wiring diagram and he said there was none. He had to test all wires and tried a bunch of different configurations to get the car starter to working. Anyways, if any of u guys are interested. I think i can get a group deal for you guys located in Edmonton.

My father-in-law owns a store in Saskatoon...I'll try them first, but thanks for the offer...

I had a Compustar installed with remote start and turbo timer. You can even wire it into your pyro and it will shut off the truck when EGT's hit a certain level...

Warms the plugs first. Thing even pages you from up to 10,000 feet away if it is tampered with. If you are in vancouver, go to Axis Audio. Talk to Adrian. Love it.

do you mind sharing the cost!!!! thanks

Hey guys...Just talked to the guy that installed my Compustar Remote pager system car starter/Alarm. The place is called Garage Works. He will install and provide system the for $750.00 instead of the $850 that I paid :(. THis will included keyless entry as well. This system also has a diesel feature which will wait 30 secs for the glow plugs/screen to warm up. Since I've had it installed its been well worth the money. So for those of you that live in Alberta and if you have the to time to come to Edmonton. Let me know.
