Cold Tacoma (1 Viewer)

Got a 2000 Tacoma 4X4 with around 200,000 mile on it. Problem is there is virtually no heat in the cab. The engine is coming up to operating temperature, the heater valve is new and operating properly. The heater core has been flushed and flows adequately. At this point the only option may be pulling the dash and investigating blindly. Has anyone else experienced this scenario? Any help would be appreciated.

I got the answer yesterday, the temperature control knob appears to control not only the cable for the valve on the firewall but also opens and closes a flap under the dash and this cable was out of adjustment.

when you slide the levers over, make sure theyre connected at the end of the slider, and the hvac unit itself.

the flap that controls the heat/cold air is located on the passenger side. on the very bottom, twords the fire wall. its a white lever.
when you slide the lever between hot and cold, 2 things happen. the valve opens/closes and the flap opens/closes.
