Cold Blooded FJ40

I have a 72 FJ 40 with headers that is extremely cold blooded. Is there any practical way to fabricate a heat riser setup with headers?

It helps me run my cruiser in -35C weather with a header.

here it is installed without hoses hooked up yet, I was thinking of looking for some stainless mesh ones but you can see the fittings circled
