I'm finally pulling the trigger on my 1HD-FTE conversion so the 1FZ is up for grabs. Motor will be pulled in November. Located in AB Canada.

This is a rare motor in North America and I'm not sure how often these come up for sale on mud.

Prices in USD

(motor is a bit dusty from the last road trip but cleans up nicely)

Specs

1998 1FZ-FE from GCC Saudi spec FZJ100
147,000 miles (236,000 km)
+30HP +25 ft-lbs compared to the 80 series version.
Runs very strong, smooth and quiet. Quite a bit more refined compared to the 80 series version.
Factory non-EGR, non catalytic converter (no O2 sensor required)
These engines are not known to have head gasket issues as Toyota changed the head design and there is no EGR.

Motor is $5k

Accessories

- LHD wire harness and Manual Transmission ECU. Does NOT have an immobilizer which makes a conversion easier.
- Comes with fuel filter (not mounted on the engine), charcoal canister.
- 100 series plastic intake box extra $150
- 1FZ H151 bell housing, flywheel, clutch disc, clutch plate, throw out bearing, clutch fork, slave cylinder extra $500 (clutch, bearing and slave were replaced at 179,000 km with new OEM, flywheel was machined to proper step spec)
- Can supply main/sub tank fuel pumps and sub tank accessories (minus sub tank) if you want to run a factory sub tank system $80 (note the gasoline 100 series used redundant fuel pumps instead of fuel transfer and/or solenoids)

Maintenance

I have done extensive maintenance to this motor as mostly logged in my thread here: Builds - My GCC Spec FZJ100 - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/my-gcc-spec-fzj100.965197/

This was my primary overland vehicle and I maintained it as such. I decided to go diesel purely for range convenience reasons.
