hi, I was wondering is if anyone has this cb and if they have modified it to be PA capable. I was looking for a handheld cb to save space in the cruiser with Pa capability. Thanx for your help.

I would also be interested in knowing from someone who has this unit whether the volume on the handheld is enough, or whether an external speaker is definitely required in an FJ40. Thanks, Claudia

I run this CB, the volume is okay as long as it is near by. I will run external speakers eventually though.

I have not used it as a PA.
