Folks with coastal off-road bumpers, have you added anything to prevent the swing out from closing on the tailgate when parked on an incline?

I have not. My hinges have enough friction to keep them stationary on most terrain that I would consider safe for parking. However, I’m Interested in modding them with gas struts and a single horizontal latch for ease of deployment.
