Can I re-use the original clutch slave hose when replacing my slave cylinder?? It is not leaking now.

That depends, is it all cracked or tore up. My hose was in fairl shape still, but the exhaust pipe or age, or something had weakend the hose right where it attached to the slave, and caused a weak spot int he hose, it would sometimes get a bulge there.

Check it over real well, I could feel the soft spot in mine. Most importatn thing if you reuse, is to replace the copper washer at the slave. Otherwise you will get a leak right there.

I'll give it a thorough check, then. Thanks for the input and the warning about that washer.

i have reused the old washers on brake lines before, if you dont find the right one, you can heat it up with a torch and allow it to air cool to soften the copper for reuse.
