I tried a 1977 fj-40 this morning and to my surprise, the clutch pedal is a lot smoother than my 1971. Is this normal? My master ,slave, and hoses (ss braided)
are new. It has always been like this and works well. I'm just curious. Maybe I have a super extra heavy duty clutch :D BTW, I have the 4 speed clutch disk and pressure plate with the 3 speed tranny , fork and cylinder setup.

thanks

when I took of the master cylinder, the clutch pedal was moving easily......

Could be as simple as the bushing the pedal is pivoting o
