out 4x4ing today, i ended up sitting on my frame rails (and probably T-case) on a mound of dry dirt.
climbing the mound all was fine, but after extraction from seesawing on the fram the clutch takeup point felt to be right at the top of the travel, and the clutch was slipping like hell.
i drove it home, by the time i got home there was enough clamping force to stall the car in first. but it still slips, and power has to be fed in very gradually.
what should i start looking at. is it possible a heap of dust is interfering? how should i clean it?
