I am going to be replacing clutch master and slave. Hard line is in good shape but I was looking to replace the 12" rubber hydraulic hose from hard line to slave.

This hose does not seem to exist (but can be made at hydraulic shops)

Should I replace just the 12" hose or go stainless from master directly to slave eliminating the hardline and unions all together

Don't eliminate the hard line. Too much flex line (stainless or otherwise) can result in spongy or inoperable brake and clutch systems. I assume you have tried all the usual culprits; Spector, CCOT, Cruiser Corps, JT Outfitters, etc.?

Can still get the OEM piece from Toyota...

:meh:

I bought a stainless replacement from $OR with the usual shipping cost almost equal to the part.
I'd go OEM if I were doing it again.

I bought the hose directly from Toyota. It was around $52. Getting that hose free from the hardline was a real PITA until @Rainman said "get a line wrench." Ended up breaking free after about 2 seconds.
