Hello

I would to know if anyone have experience clunker nice when turn left or right after upgrade the 80 series suspend to 2.5" OME with Caster correction of course. The rig ride great. The sound came from front of vehicle. Any suggestions where I should look?

Thanks

Dave

Is it just one clunk or more of a click, click, click?

check TRE!

I noticed a clunking and clanging after I did my OME lift. Turns out I had seriously failed at tightening the bracket where the steering stabilizer attaches to the frame

Do you have a shim or spacer on top of the springs? You might be getting metal-on-metal clanky clank.

Harmless but annoying.

+1
is it a one time clunk or a repeating sound?
at what speed does this occur?
does it happen at full turn or?

It is a one time clunk at mostly full turn or clank during a low speed turn. There is no noise going straight. As Westafari had stated, I'll check my steering stabilizer bar. Yes, I do have rubber shim on the spring in the rear.

Double check the bolts at the axle where the front arms attach. If they are the least bit loose you get a clunk when they shift slightly.

I use a couple of large box wrenches and my legs to get them right enough.

Those bolts torque to 130 #fts

We work on lots of rigs that wheel very often, if the hardware is in good condition (never been over torqued) and properly torqued to spec, the arm hardware never comes loose. It's not "New England wheeling" but desert wheeling can be very hard on equipment, especially when done often.
