meh... guess I don't need to worry about the knuckles after all, since the tranny blew up this a.m.![]()

Things I'd like some help with:
1. Had a bad (old) airlocker switch and replaced it with a toggle - now it won't work. Any electricians out there?
2. Steering very loose and also very hard to turn to the right. Would like a little help finding out the cause.
If I'm too late to find room in the shop, I'd be happy to help out and ask lots of questions.
Thanks
Ray

Define "blew up"....Steering ... very hard to turn to the right...

What??? Where you out wheelin???
Dang girl - that sucks.Define "blew up".
Not everyone drives a NASCAR. SOme of us enjoy REAL racing that has right turns and jumps too...
...They looked at it and said that it looks like the torque converter went, and then took out everything else down the line...
It still drives -- for about 5 miles or so -- before it starts acting up...
Maybe I'm missing something, but the two statements above don't jive...
Is your tranny overheating after those 5 miles?
I had a torque converter go out, and there was no intermittent recovery from the symptoms, it was simply bad and then got worse. Of course, that was a Chevy 700R4...![]()
