clock and radio died at same time ???? (1 Viewer)

I checked the fuses and they seem okay,
Any chance someone can point me in the direction to figure out why thew both died ?

Mine did the same thing and it was a fuse that looked fine but when tested it was bad. I would replace it and go from there

they share same circuit in Toyotas- what does "seem ok" actually mean....

I've had the same problem and others have too. Still havent got mine worked out yet.

I have seen this in my '97, radio and clock go out but fuse is fine. Smack the dash and it comes back though. I pulled it all apart and checked for loose wires behind the aftermarket radio and haven't seen the problem since. I actually think it was a ground problem but don't have any proof, just that everything "hot" seemed fine so I tightened down my ground lug a scoshe.

Found this problem on one of the stock fj62s we have. The radio it self was the problem. Mike
