Hi I have a 1994 80 and when I go around a turn i hear a rubbing noise or clicking noise. I notice it when the steering wheel is turned (left or right) and the truck is moving. It does not happen when the truck is stopped (and turning the wheel). The noise started out on the driver side and then I eventually heard it on the passenger side. Driving straight is fine. Any ideas?

No lift
305/70 tires
Everything is stock

Thank you

If the sound is more of a popping sound that is the birfields that are showing some wear or lack of lubrication.

Is there a recommended grease to use for your birfields? Thx

Valvoline Palladium is lithium-based NLGI #2 with molybdenum disulfide .

If they're worn to the point that grease doesn't fix it then it's time to service the knuckles. You can get more life out of the joints by switching them from left to right
