Clicking/creaking sound when you turn car off

I have a 11 LC and after driving I turn the car off and get out and I always hear a clicking/creaking/tapping/water dripping/metal contracting sound coming from underneath. My assumption if this is the exhaust system contracting back into position but this cant be normal. Is this my cats going? There's never any pools of fluid underneath so I don't think its something dripping on the hot exhaust (which is what it sounds like) but it's annoying the hell out of me. Thanks!

More than likely that is normal, the exhaust cooling down, muffler, heat shields, and that pinging / etc sound is more than likely normal.
