Lots of Toyota action (only one LC200). Good times were had by all. Nothing crazy or hardcore. It was a "newbie" outing put on by ChiTown4X4.com and it was my first time out with my new-to-me '13 LC200. I cut a sidewall and plugged it to get off the trail. I didn't have the lug adapter required to get my spare on (wasn't included in purchase, I didn't check/ notice) so the 8 year old ARB tire repair kit saved the day until the adapter was delivered. New wheels ant tires are on order from ChiTown4X4 since it was his wife that brought the required adapter all the way from Chicagoland so I could get back home.

Lots of FJ's, some 4Runners and one lone LC200. Enjoy if you haven't seen it yet:

I will sign up for next event but may not bring my 200, may bring my 100. Do I need to order sliders or is just mud?

You don't need sliders but I consider them cheap insurance. I'd had sliders on my FJ for ten years and I didn't like having to worry about the rockers on the 200. I did remove the running boards before I went out there though. Sliders are on my short list.

I see you are in wheaton, I lived there 35 years ago. I am in Oak Brook so we are not too far away. I am all over Roosevelt Rd daily. You can spot me in the black LC with KO2s/RW wheels. If there is any offroad events nearby let me know. I am a novice but willing to learn.

Awesome Video!

@Reckless and @GoISU, I'm in Evanston so let me know next time you're going 4 wheelin' and if I'm free I'll join you guys.

I run a business so I get very little time, its always been my wish but I need to go with people who are very friendly and supportive. Plus, I am not much into technical details. I would prefer to find a place where we can do some offroad racing once I become proficient.

Does badlands have a dirt track for racing?

Last time I was at the Badlands, I wheeled so fast I broke my passenger!

Yea, they have some sand hills to open it up.
