I have an LC, not an LX, but I use Bredemann Toyota for much of my regular service. They've done CV re-boots and other work as well. I don't know if they'll work on an LX though or if they'll refer you to a Lexus dealer

I had new gears and lockers installed at Chi-Town 4x4. Rick is great, the only real downside is he's super busy and can't typically get people in right away. But if you needed an engine rebuilt he's the first guy I'd call.

I used BUR Auto Care Addison, IL to replace my LX470 engine. Tony did it for cheap, He has worked on my LX470 and LC for every issue for last 10+ years.
