Chevy V8 engine mounts - anyone using these in a Pig? (1 Viewer)

These were in the tech section, I thought that they looked easy to make. Anyone else use them or seen them in person?

And, I have to say, there are a billion hits for V8 mounts with the search, but none looked like this.

Thought Brian installed something similar to that in his truck when he re-did his engine mounts...

I emailed him (tech link) and about his set up. He said he has been very happy with it so far and hasn't had any issues yet. He also said that it hadn't seen any HARD wheel'n yet. This is what I am going to do on mine. Looks easy enough for my mad non-fab skills.

These are what I'm using, and I think they're the best out there. They wrap over the top of the frame, and use the stock Chevy engine mount. I got them through Bob Firestine.

Crash uses/makes that type mount. Here is one for V8 going into a 4Runner. This rig is run hard.

Vortec, does your engine sit high enough to clear the oil pan? That seems to be a concern for a Pig because of the front axle placement.
