I just purchased a new project 69' Fj-40 with a 307 conversion in it. The wire in it is shot and I have started to rewire the whole thing LOTS OF FUN!!! I noticed that there is no voltage regulator at all. It has a delco alternator in it. My question is how do I determine if the alt has a internal or external regulator and if it is an exterior will the stock toyota regulator work? Thanks look forward to the help.
