what year 40? the split case transfer will not bolt to a transmission that is setup for a 1 piece transfer case.

Thanks for the replys. A run up to Richmond is definitely doable. It's a late model built out of all sort of years though including 60 stuff. Lol. H42 trans. Starting to have some issues with my split case Fairey unit and want to change gears to get more of a crawl out of the transfer case anyway.

do you need a whole case or just a backhalf? I have a extra backhalfs (one 34mm and one 38mm I think) and plenty of good used 34/38mm idler gears, output shafts, rear retainers, high/low gears etc
