that's just sweeeet!:p

To each their own, but I agree with Crusher..... I'd only buy it to strip it of its diesel engine and drive-train or transplant a decent LC body onto the frame.

that is fugglin ugly
pass.
thanks for the heads up now i need to visit the toliet.

The term "head turner" would certainly apply here. You would either look or turn your head the other way.:):)
...........1978HJ45

If the body had rear passenger back doors cut into it it would look very close to the 10 million dual cab 75s and 78 troopys and 78 running around mining towns and sites in western Australia , I like it

Romey,
it would be a fine work truck since i wouldn't be nervous banging up that body. but the astetics is missing completely on the build.
someone was thinking outside the box, cool.
but outside the box in their world is just an ugly place.
society has rules just because of people like that.

This vehicle has obviously been modded for a specific business type use, coomercial vehicle, delivery truck or something of that nature.

Good luck to the new owner!!!!:)

lol. that's too funny Wayne! what i need is a troopy with 3rd row seats....AND a tray back...and might as well, 6 wheel drive. haha.

hell i can set you up with a wicked troopy and install the seats needed... tray back becomes a roof rack.
all you need is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ...
(actually if you sold your 60 + 40 + 80 then you would be fine)

still looks the same as when it came in, we are ironing out the small details before finally making the plunge.
come and go for a drive.

this appears to me to be a 70 series cab dropped onto a longer (or stretched) frame with the rear 70 cab wheel wells sheeted over

so the consensus is against the aesthetics of this particular truck?

what if the cab wasnt so freakishly long?
what if the 70 cab was shortened to turn it into a extended cab instead of a doorless crew cab

in other words - cab extends 18 or 24 inches behind the front seats instead of 4 feet or so

for what it is worth.... I know where there is a nice 70 series cab available that would be perfect for something similar to this ;)

oh - and a complete RHD 75 series rolling chassis with 3BII / H41 to put the extended cab onto

will build to suit

3L time bomb - pass
2.2L diesel gutless - hard to gets parts for, pass
the BJ74 is a great little truck.

The 3L engine is a relentless workhorse.
