Cheapie ways to boost a 13-BT

Im just wondering if theres any simple/cheapish ways to give more power to the std 13-BT motor.

Do you have a Pyro and Boost guage?

If so, how much boost are you getting? And what are your max temps?

Here are the cheaper ways of getting more power:
-Once you have a boost guage, shim your wastegate to get more boost (12psi).
-Once you have a pyro, you can adjust your fuel, and give more (1200'f max - pre turbo).

Here are the more expensive ways:
-You could add a bigger exhuast, which means you can turn your fuel up higher.
-Add an intercooler

Doing those things should give you enough power to run any tire you want up any grade.
I would start with the first two.
You will probably stop there.
My 13BT has lots of power.

Something tells me, shimming your wastegate might be all you need.
Just don't take the make boost past 12psi.
And make sure you test it on a steep hill.
You want 12psi (max) when pulling hard. Not 12psi on the flats.

Ever had the pump/injectors checked or serviced.
Maybe there is something simple that will give better performance without any mods

yeah, just looking for things that aren't too mech worthy.

I would say service it first. That gave me better performance straight off.
