1500 dollars is what's to lose, that's what i paid for my running 84 land cruiser

Id be concerned about how that tranny would hold up to low gears and big tires, and how much money would be involved in bolting up a new one. Also, id check on where the turbo inlets are, if they are up high you could probably make some type of sick custom air inlet/snorkle dealy, but if they are down low id be real wary of putting something like that in any truck that might ever see deep water.
