So in addition to land cruisers, I like to study study about AI in my free time. I'm pretty sure that the end of all humanity is near but in the mean time, ChatPGT is fun to play with. Here is a transcript of my conversation with the bot to produce a table of land cruiser models and engine options:

KCJAZ:
what do you know about Land Cruisers

Land Cruiser is a brand of four-wheel drive vehicles that are manufactured by Toyota. They are popular for their durability, reliability, and off-road capabilities. The Land Cruiser was first introduced in 1951 and has since become one of Toyota's most iconic models. Over the years, Toyota has produced several different versions of the Land Cruiser, including the FJ40, FJ60, FJ80, and the more recent 200 Series. The Land Cruiser is known for its rugged construction and is often used in off-road and adventure settings.

KCJAZ:

what about the 2F engine for the 60 series?

The 2F engine was introduced for the 60 Series Land Cruiser in 1980 and was available until 1990 in most markets. It is a 4.2-liter inline-six gasoline engine with carburetor and produces 135 horsepower (101 kW) and 210 lb-ft (285 Nm) of torque. The 2F engine was paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a four-speed automatic transmission was available as an option in some markets.

KCJAZ
why didn't you have that in the table you made?

I apologize for the oversight. The 2F engine was indeed available for the 60 Series Land Cruiser, and I should have included it in the table. Here is an updated version:

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Anyone see other errors in the table? The chatbot is pretty good but as you might expect, the more specific the info you ask it for the more likely it is to provide incomplete or wrong information.

"why isn't the 300 series a real landcruiser?"

"why isn't the 300 series a real landcruiser?"
because ChatGPT doesn't know anything about the world past 2021. Its not a search engine that crawls the web. yet.

It's missed the 2H, 2B and 3B diesel for the 40 series, and to my knowledge, there was never an HJ55 made. Not a bad effort though.

Here's what ChatGPT is really good at:

KCJAZ:
write a poem about a 200 series land cruiser going to Moab

Through the winding roads and dusty trails, A 200 Series Land Cruiser prevails. Its sturdy frame and powerful might, Conquer every obstacle in sight.
Onward to Moab it does go, Ready for any challenge, don't you know? With its lockers engaged and suspension flexed, The Land Cruiser proves to be the best.
Canyons deep and rocky paths, Are no match for the Cruiser's wrath. It takes on every challenge with grace, And leaves a trail of awe in its place.
From slickrock to sand dunes, The Land Cruiser never falters or swoons. Its durability and strength are unmatched, And every obstacle is easily dispatched.
Through the fiery sun and desert heat, The Land Cruiser never skips a beat. It's the king of the trails, the ruler of the land, The ultimate adventure machine, it's just grand.
So let's raise a toast to the 200 Series, As it conquers Moab with power and ease. Its legacy will continue to thrive, As it keeps conquering trails and keeping the dream alive.

Wow, pretty impressive. How long does it take to return an answer?

Do you remember the last land cruiser model/engine table you made for me?

Yes, I still have access to the last land cruiser model/engine table I made for you.

KCJAZ

I apologize for the error in my previous response. You are correct that I missed the 2H, 2B, and 3B diesel engines for the 40 series Land Cruiser. The HJ55 was also not a model that was officially produced by Toyota, but rather a customized version by certain markets. Here is an updated table with the corrected information:

It gets pretty close for may things and you can just tell it to fix what you see wrong. The cool part is that it responds really fast.

Wow, pretty impressive. How long does it take to return an answer?
its pretty fast. That poem took 4 or 5 seconds. The site does bog down but that is due to total usage, not the specific request.

If I had kids, this would be their bedtime story.

add a boy named Mcgaskins

There's a boy named McGaskins, riding in the back, With his eyes wide open and a big smile intact. He's gazing out the window, taking in the view, As the Land Cruiser powers on, strong and true.
McGaskins is thrilled, for he loves to explore, The great outdoors, the rocks, the canyons, and more. He dreams of climbing, hiking, and camping out, And Moab is the perfect place, no doubt.
As the Cruiser rolls into town, McGaskins jumps out, Eager to start his adventure without a doubt. He takes a deep breath, and his heart starts to race, As he sets out to explore this vast open space.
He hikes up the red rocks, and he scrambles down, With his trusty Land Cruiser always around. He sees the arches and the canyons so grand, And the beauty of this place, he can hardly stand.
At night, he sleeps under the starry sky, With the Cruiser nearby, a comforting ally. And in the morning, he sets out once again, To explore the wonders of Moab, with his best friend.
So here's to McGaskins, with his sense of adventure, And his trusty Land Cruiser, a true treasure. May they continue to explore this vast open land, With each journey more amazing than the last, firsthand.

KCJAZ
make it a limerick starting with "There once was a man named McGaskins"

Certainly, here's a limerick for you:
There once was a man named McGaskins,
Whose passion for adventure had him asking,
For a trusty Land Cruiser,
To be his trusty muse, sir,
And explore Moab without ever slacking.

Yeah, this is really entertaining. I've spent the whole evening messing with this. I swear, I'm stopping now after this:

can you do a rap version

Sure, here's a rap version of the Mcgaskins and his Land Cruiser poem:
Yo, listen up, there's a story to be told, 'Bout a man named McGaskins, his Cruiser was bold.
He took it to Moab, where the rocks were rough, But the Cruiser was tough, and it never gave up.
The terrain was steep, the path was narrow, But the Cruiser never faltered, it was like an arrow.
McGaskins had skills, he knew how to drive, And the Cruiser had power, it kept them alive.
The mud was thick, the dust was high, But the Cruiser never stopped, it reached for the sky.
McGaskins was proud, he felt like a king, With his Land Cruiser conquering everything.
So if you ever see a Cruiser like McGaskins', Just remember the story, let it sink in.
It's not just a car, it's a symbol of might, And when it hits the trail, it's a beautiful sight.

This is what you can do when you read the whole internet...

It missed the 1fz on the first table, but included it in the second table after you scorned it for not being detailed enough :D But then the 3fe went missing!

College campuses everywhere are going crazy trying to figure out how to detect phony research papers written with this tool. So glad I'm not having to deal with this...
