For those of you who watch Chasing Classic Cars, I happen to catch a commercial last night for a new episode that airs this week (Tuesday) that had a FJ45 in it. It's a spring green or sea foam green mid 60's long bed. Looking it up on my TV, it says the episode takes place Squaw Valley ski resort and also features Johnny Mosely. Should be interesting. Is this 45 someone on here?

10pm Eastern on Velocity. Hope Wayne knows what he's talking about.

Yea, funny how they called the 55 a 1973 fj45 wagon. Other than that, it was good!

Not sure how they messed that up, every Car there had correct info written on cards placed on the windshields?? The LPB is a 1964, they wrote it up as a 69.

Other than typos it was a pretty cool show. Not sure who the dork was that they talked to though.:)

Whoever the dork is has a bitchin' LV (and fleet of cruisers)!

Curious, were you approached for an episode? Or, how did it come about?
Interesting that they are using this show as the basis for the commercial trailer ad. Seems the producers and Wayne are very fond of cruisers. In the show, it looked like Wayne was having way too much fun....:D

saw it

I was actually watching that in real time. Lucky, I just stumbled onto it. Like that 45lwb. I have had several very similar and, like you, would like to get one back.

I have known Wayne's cousin for a while. He is involved with a couple of car shows in the Tahoe area, and was asked by Wayne to put on a classic 4x4 truck show to go with the episode. Knowing that i had some Cruisers he asked me to put them in the show.
I think Jonny Mosley and Andy Worth originally put the idea together of finding a vehicle that possibly was at the 1960 olympics. They got ahold of Wayne through his cousin, and from there the show was put together.
Waynes job seems to be too cool, traveling around buying, fixing selling, driving cool cars. And then skiing or what ever as part of the show.
Wayne seemed to be a really nice guy, I didn't get to talk to him much, but did try to correct him on the FJ thing, ( FJ40/FJ45/FJ55, not just FJ) but he didn't hear me.

Steve TNX Again
plan to see it at 7:00 with my neighbor, not much going on up here but a bunch of rain finally getting the ground wet, all you can do is sit around the fire and watch it rain.

Ya I got to see it, was hoping to get a little more about the history of the four fj40-55s anyhow Wayne had good words to say about the bunch, glad I got to see it.
