Charges dropped. Cleared as expected . . .

GO CHA-GAHS!

Well I guess no one wants to comment on last nights debacle! Thank God the Raiders are destined to snatch Defeat from the jasw of Victory each and every week. And finally a horrible call by the refs went our way.
Oh and by the way to the Raider fans who are crying about that call we would have pulled a Denver Broncos and went for two on our last score to just get the HE!! out of Oakland win or lose.

You must be referring to the TOUCHDOWN catch right before the first half ended. Only had a half an ear listening and I missed why it was ruled incomplete. He had full possesion of the ball, both feet hit...and the ground can not cause a fumble. Hmmm.....Defeat from the Jaws of Victory? Chargers got a very fortunate call. Now, watch Al Davis sue the NFL over that one!

Believe what you want to believe. The Raiders OWNED the chargers all the way up to the first half of the 4th quarter. This is what many are calling your Super Bowl year? As a Raider fan, I am not crying about the ref call and not getting the 6 points. I am happy the Raiders played the game and the way we made San Diego looked poorly, (even your own local SD sports writers are saying this)

The Chargers are supposed to be Super Bowl contenders and they barely won the game against one of the worst teams in the NFL in the past 6 years or so? think about it......

Our main concern is J Russell, yes he can hurl the ball 70 yards for a touch down, but he needs to be accurate in the short distances and find his wide receivers....Bottom line J Russell needs to learn how the read the defense better....

If the Raiders' defense plays the way they played last night, they will win a few more games for division winning contention. It is not like our division is a powerful one, come on, how many games did the chargers win last year?

Oh yeah, Richard Seymour was the dominant defensive player of the game, not Merryman.

The rule was new to me too. They said it was because falling to the ground was part of his catch and the nose of the ball hit the ground while it was supposedly loose in his hands.

Wow - I saw no 'loose in his hands' on that catch. He had total control of the ball until he hit the ground...and I could care less about the Raiders, but they got hosed on that call.

Yeah, it's just stupid to call out a team as a Super Bowl contender at this point in the season. But we also will not play that poorly again this year! And you should be happy about how your team performed but your team is also much better than the past 6 years so those past comparisons are stupid by our idiot writers at the Union Tribune.

Aparently ESPN went over the new rules on catching when falling to the ground before the season and this call was completely explained, I will try to find the article or clip.

All I can say is I hope the raiders game is not a portrait of things to come. I nearly got thrown out of my own house for cursing so much. MY wife is now regretting telling me she got me tickets to the Monday night game against the broncos at over $100 each.

Now with all the new rules at a charger game reported today and ticket cost, I doubt I will ever go to a game in person again.

What new rules? They have them listed somewhere?

there was an article in the paper this week. No taxi's allowed, no beer after the half, new code of conduct more restrictive, etc.

Well I didn't expect a win today but DANG we should have won that game.
That field goal on 3rd down just before the half kinda came back to bite us in the arse.

Post Padder!! :flipoff2:

Yeah I didn't quite understand the call to kick a field goal on third down with 10 seconds on the clock. Sproles had another great day, it too bad it ended on such a bad note . . .

Terrible play calling, it's time to replace Norv.

3rd down & kicking a field goal in the red zone is unacceptable.:bang:

Delay of game, Delay of Game, Delay of Game. WTH:mad::mad:

The Chargers organization was asleep at the wheel yesterday...

The Bolts have a terrible history of doing this. I bet the 'Delay of Game' yardage lost stats over the last few years would astonish us . . .
