I've got my reservation into the 'slickrock' campground for CM08... anyone else?

Agenda... Pay raise for the secretary.

I am sorry I can't make the meeting. I lean toward keeping TCCC in Iowa also if we can swing enough participation by members.
Doc, I am sure you know but I am going to CM also, camping in the motel. Looking forward to it, am getting new rock rails and rear lower links in the next month for more armor. Since TX Jamboree I have driver's side rear tire about 1/2 inch ahead of passenger side tire. It is a weak point on FJ Cruisers.

Hey Guys,

Dave and I tried coming in to the meeting today but, with the roads as bad as they are and all the stupid drivers out there we decided it would be best to just stay home.

Sooooooooooo???????

So, spill the beans. What did all ya'll crazy winter weather drivers talk about and decide???? :bounce::steer::bounce2: Don't hold back now, or are you still frozen from being out yesterday? I gave a list of my thoughts to Art to share w/ you. Hey, where's that new secretary??? :D:D:D

Oh, check out the sig line. We added one to the family.:clap::clap:

Stirring the pot.....

(Brent, pics are in a new post so this one doesn't get muddled up.)

So, I have heard that there is a private OHV park in NW iowa. From what I know it is @ 2500 acres, open to 4x4, bikes, atv, cabins, and hunting, and they take good care of the trails. It's called Timber Ridge Off Road Trails and wondered if any of you know of this place (Doc???) and might this be an optional location for TCCC? For my first time out wheeling I thought that Dan's place was great (and still do). Just trying to help us all branch out....:hhmm:

Jim

Is that your final answer?

SO is it official that TCCC is staying in Iowa this year? Art? Are we still figuring things out? The suspence is kill'en me man.... :shotts:

Jim

Sorry, I'm super busy with work and haven't had time to do much of anything.

Yes, the Tall Corn Cruiser Classic will be staying in Iowa this year. It's going to be August 22nd-24th and we've already confirmed this with the land owner.

Till I have more time...talk to you all later. :grinpimp:

Sorry I wasn't there guys! I was working on a 'project' that may take me out of Iowa permanently. I should know more on Monday.

Say it ain't so.... :crybaby::crybaby: We can't have you leaving just as things are getting going here. :bang: So, where to? Hope its someplace nice like Colorado or Utah or Cali. You can't go yet. You and Casey still need to school me on wheelin an 80.

Well, don't worry yet- I was 'supposed' to hear back on the job on Friday. Didn't hear anything on Friday, haven't heard anything today. I left a voice mail message- but it's only been a few minutes since I did that.

IF things did work out it would be to southern Indiana. (2 hrs from Attica!) Really a pretty area. Also, if it did work out I would drop out of cruise Moab- just too far to drive. But I could probobly make TCCC08!

I'm new here, so excuse my ignorance :), but why would TCCC no longer be held in Iowa?

We were approached by Tornado Alley Cruisers of MO/KS about doing a joint event with them. Our chapter events are fairly close together and there was some concern that we were hurting each others attendance by having them within 3 weeks of each other.
