Where is the form found?
Penalty for not submitting form?

I think they just do a phone conference. I'm betting we don't hear anything back.
Not really sure what if any benefits we get for being a club in good standing.

I had planned to bring this up in campfire discussion thursday or friday since we'll have active members present, please hold your comment until then. I'd like to know how committed the membership is to TLCA. :hhmm:

Meanwhile, those that worry about these things have last minute details to finish for YOUR event this weekend. :grinpimp:

Hi

To answer the questions

#1 --green40-- there is a monthly meeting held via tele-conference. On your CGS form, your club will list the contact information for your club's TLCA delegate. This delegate should call in if possible, and hear what's going on at the national level. This piece is missing.

#2 -- landtank -- as this is a national club, we try to have the meeting at a time that works across the country -- 9 PM East Coast, 6 PM West Coast. I understand that is late for you guys, and our East Coast clubs struggle the most to attend. We are open to suggestions.

#3 -- Cruiser_nerd -- I understand there are other issues out there, and my intention is to keep Yankee Toys as a TLCA chapter in good standing. We want and need all of our clubs to be involved, to support us so that we can support you.

Thanks all

So after a little discussion. Toyota Trails it a cool magazine but what are the benefits of being a memeber? What do we get for our memebership dues?

What about club runs with people who own rigs other than Toyota's?

Besides Toyota Trails, I think that the main things we provide is a way for clubs to acquire insurance should they want it to put on an event (An example would be Pacific Mountain Cruisers' annual swap meet). We provide a way for members to find out and participate in events (Cruise Moab, Rubithon, etc), and we provide sort of a support group for Toyota 4x4 addicts. know about it.

TLCA also supports Blue Ribbon Coalition (Greg Mumm). Rubithon directly supports the Rubicon Trail Foundation (Del Albright). Other clubs have done land use work, and used Toyota Trails to let others

A large portion of your dues do go to Toyota Trails, and we do offset some of the cost of Trails by selling advertising. That advertising provides members access to products they may not know about.

As for Club Runs? There are open events that don't require TLCA membership (Mud-n-Yer-Eye for example). And your non-TLCA members are not forbidden by our bylaws. They can join TLCA or not. We just ask on the CGS form that you list your TLCA members.

Hope that answers your questions?

Thanks!
