Since it’s been snowing off and on today and feels like it’s only 9* outside I’ve been tinkering around and decided to mock up some rock light brackets. Hopefully it warms up enough later this week I can actually make a few.

It does feel a little tighter now. I still have some play but it's in the gearbox and inherit setup of the 80's steering.Feel any better?
But at least you're close enough to the coast still to be able to get some decent clam chowder. My favorite has always been from the 'lil hut in Morro Bay.I miss good mexican food
Today also marks one year to the day we left the Republic of California and moved to the Midwest. Truly do miss all our friends, the local TLCA chapter, the wheeling and camping opportunities, and good Mexican food.

I honestly haven't noticed much settling yet, my truck measures at 24.5" from hub to flare at every corner. That said, the truck is currently empty and is not driven daily. The 2nd and 3rd rows are removed, jerry cans are removed, high lift off. The is about 80lbs of crap between the Puma compressor, tools, and recovery gear still in the back and 115 lbs for the spare hanging off the back. Dual battery, tube bumper, and M8000 still up front.@chap79 now that you’ve got some miles on them, how have the Slinkys settled in? You lost about 1-1.5” from the previous springs, did you undo any of the supporting suspension mods for the lower static height, or keep them for the additional travel?
I did adjust the rear lower control arms to shorten them to keep the rear driveshaft within proper angles and still need to extend my front swaybar drops another .5" to be a total of 2.5" so that the front driveshaft does not hit it while pinned up using LCP's disconnect. everything else is still where it was before to keep the 37's from rubbing too muchdid you undo any of the supporting suspension mods for the lower static height, or keep them for the additional travel?
Heavies of course. You know the truck is built for the trail, not pavement. I really don't care if it feels stiff when everything is stripped out of it and it's sitting empty; looking forlorn like a shelter animal. Just waiting for the opportunity to hit the dirt and stretch it's legs.Slinky heavies or mediums?
