Though my 100 series is a Turbo diesel, and I live in the tropics and my heater has only been used a few times to dehumidify the windshield I obviously need to still heed the heater Tee warnings. My Tee (only 1 on the Diesel) looked like brand new and there were no signs of pink on the edges, I started loosing coolant. I checked the Tee and it was wet so I ordered a new one and went to change it this aft. I just got a hold of the front hose to release the clamp and the tee broke off in my hand..... lesson learned. By the way, everyone seems to replace the original squeeze clamps with screw style clamps of one kind or another. Why? Mr toyota seems to think the original squeeze clamps are good enough. why not just reuse them?

I used the Toyota constant tension clamps, too. They work best.
