Chandler/ Gilbert Loan a tool program

I am sure I am violating every man law written but I have gone through a long stretch of buying “one and done” tools and have a work shop filling up with pullers, gauges, and other **** that I use once every ten years. Now I need an in/lb torque wrench for an oil pan gasket change and before I drop the dough I thought I would ask if anyone in the south valley can spare one for a bit. Of course I will be happy to share any odd tools I have if anyone needs it.

Anyway just let me know if you have one of those little buggers. I am located in So Chandler ( McQueen & Chandler Heights)

Thanks,
Scott

I have an old Snap On inch/pound torque wrench I would be willing to lend you. I am in Tucson so you'd have to just pay shipping both ways. Let me know.

I have a cheap HF .25 drive one. I am north but I will be around Gilbert & Chandler Heights on Monday for a BBQ

I have one, live in Laveen and work in Tempe

Thanks X4,

Jason 4x4 I may be in touch as it gets time ot install
Thanks again all and do not hestiate to ask if I can return the favor

Does anyone have a right angle drill and a short 1/4" drill bit I could borrow?

Hmm, I just measured and it is a 2" space to get into for drilling. That limits my options.

Boy, that is just about a tight spot. I don't think even a Dremel right angle head with a burr would fit there. Whatcha doin, anyway?

I have a right angle puppy on it way that will fit into a 1.5" spot. I have no idea how many times over the years I have ran into this and ended up taking so many things apart in the garage, in the house or the yard. This guy is tired of it

If you need to cut down a dril bit to fit, I have a drill Dr to put a point on it for you.

Is that the little SK kit? I think we have one of those at work, comes with it's own little stubby bits. My other mechanic has used it, and seems to like it. I have not needed it yet. Just lucky, I guess................

They have their own bits that screw in. I did not see a brand name, I can tell you more when I get it.

So, what is it that your having so much fun with snorkel bearings?:bang:

Snorkel bearings are very hard to reach...

what lubricant do you use for those
