Hi Everyone – Sorry for the short notice but we’ll be cancelling the organized OHV Volunteer Workday that is scheduled for this Saturday, October 19th. With the beginning of the 10 Days of Uwharrie Outdoor Festival, Uwharrie Summit, Search for Bigfoot Adventure Bike Race and the whole ONS Rovers being here there is just too much going on this weekend to have a work day. We have the November workday scheduled for November 16th & that will be my last one before my knee surgery so I’ll be working with you all that day. We’ll finish installing guardrail on Daniel Trail and maybe a few other spots and we’ll see what else we can come up with for that workday.
If you’re out there this weekend and you pick up trash or do other volunteering task please send me an email next week about what you did and how many hours you volunteered and I can record it.
