I'm going to attempt to 'MAN UP' tomorrow at 6 (on my day off!) to crank out the front yard stuff and 'Git 'er Done' by the end of the day. Then I might be able to make it on Sunday. I suppose I should make sure the front diff is full since the driver side seal is leaking a bit.

Hey all, still gonna try to make it, depending on how many calls we get on my 48hr shift (only 40 more to go).

However, I don't have a CB, and the one I could borrow requires a $40 antenna which I didn't get a chance to pick up in town.

Any estimates for when you'll be at the top of Cedro Peak? (aka CP16/17, near the gate by which one accesses Cedro Peak Lookout) That'll give me window of time to shoot for (both arriving & how long to hang out playing w/dobers til it becomes obvious I've missed ya).

not really, sure what to tell ya. I don't know the area at all--Ali and Evan know this area. I would ask them in terms of how long to wait etc.....

Looks like I'll be there with my 1/4 gal. The 1 (full) gal will not be making it, I don't think.

Siren,
Plan on meeting at Evan's (directions above) and I'll bring the spare CB set. This way, if we change the starting location or change the route, you aren't left out and we aren't looking for anyone.

I'd like to take the short hike to the antenna tower on Cedro Peak so bring your hiking shoes if you'd like. It's a very short/painless hike. A little water/snack is also a good idea and don't forget to bring Fido!

Ali: I don't get off work until 9am. Work & home are about 6 miles south of Cedro.

We had a storm system DUMP rain & hail for about 45min, so it might be kinda muddy. I've got Evans #'s and will give him a call before ya'll leave tomorrow, unless I'm on a call.

If we don't hook up it'll still be a good time had by all.... Moses the Siren

I have no idea why the goober driving the camera did such a lousy job framing these 2 pics but you can trust me, Graham and Evan don't normally stand at a 30* angle. This is closer to the real deal.
