I plan on installing the CDL and doing the pin7 mod. Currently, I have an ARB installed in the rear. I understand that once you turn the center off, the FACTORY front and rear will unlock as well. When in 4LO, is there any advantage to having the center unlocked, and the rear ARB locked?

Your set up is the "best of all worlds" in terms of selectabilty. I suppose the advantage of being able to lock the rear without engaging the center diff. is that it takes some strain off of the T-Case (when the center diff. is locked...both front and rear outputs are forced to move at the same speed).

Its no great advantage IMO but you certainly have choices this way.

Interesting question.
