I bought my 93 cruiser and it already had manual hubs and there is not a CDL switch installed. I'm trying to figure out how they may have locked the t-case so i can undo it and install a switch. Im guessing it is a wiring mod, but i dont have a FSM yet. Any assistance it appreciated
Thanks in advance

A common way to lock the CDL in High range (w/o the switch) is to put the TC lever in Low, remove the diff lock fuse, then put the TC lever back in high. That way, the CDL stays locked.

Check for any missing fuses...

I would also look in the dash at the socket for the optional center difflock switch to see if it has been jumpered.

Thanks guys, I was thinking somewhere along those lines. Hopefully it was done that simply :D

Do you own a USA spec'd vehicle? Some countries have PT 4WD from the factory.
