Has anybody tried the CCOT Center console for the 40? I'm thinking of buying one and I was curious about the fit, quality, ect.

No personal experience here but I recall a recent thread where someone said you have to open lid of the CCoT Tuffy copy everytime you wanna see or mess with the radio. If this be the case, it is but one more example of my personal experience that everything from them is a compromise.

I have one and dgangle is correct in that you have to open the entire lid to access the radio/CB compartment. For me, that wasn't an issue as I'm installing an overhead Tuffy CB mount system. The center console has lots of room in it. If you plan to put a CB or radio in your center console, I'd go with a Tuffy because of the flip out lid.

Whoops. EDIT: The CCOT center console mounted between the factory seat mounts with only minor tweaking. Had to grind just a touch off of one of the seat mounts.

Only pics I have access to right now:

Looks pretty good. I also like your lock boxes in the rear.

Thanks. They were made by Con-Ferr, but they're out of business. You might be able to find some used ones.
